No matter what your woodland objectives are, ARC can help by producing a woodland management plan to suit your precise needs.

We work in both conifer and broadleaved woodlands and can develop management plans for commercial applications, amenity, recreation, as well as habitat and wildlife objectives.

ARC gathers information already available to you and locates additional relevant information from other sources. This is combined with onsite survey and data collection, which is then used to produce the plan.

Onsite data collection includes capturing GPS coordinates for incorporation into digital maps as well as further analysis in a Geographical Information System. We currently use ESRI ArcView 9.2.



This information can then be channelled into an application for felling and thinning licences from the Forestry Commission and if appropriate, a grant scheme contract, giving aid for operations such as new planting, replanting felled areas, or help with infrastructure costs.
